"I began writing my 55 Fiction story when suddenly a loud humming arose outside. I opened the door to find–a space ship!
Four tiny creatures emerged. I invited them in for tea. I told them my story idea. They said it was boring and that I should write about them instead, so I did."

http://folklore.org/ - “Anecdotes about the development of Apple's original Macintosh computer, and the people who created it.” This has lots of interesting stories around the original Mac development effort. I have been reading all of them whenever I get some free time.
This is my favorite:

I was surprised to learn that RedBull’s marketing is very different from the traditional marketing theories. It's suppose to be a Lovemark and not a brand. "A Lovemark has three things, versus a brand: it has mystery, sensuality and intimacy.” Redbull is suppose to be a brand full of mystery with so many rumors around it, for example, Red Bull is made from the extracts of bull testicles, thus the name, which is not true of course. Here are some interesting link about Redbull marketting.

Project Delta aims to create the perfect cookieThis is a write up by
Gladwell (author of Blink and Tipping Point) explaining how Open Source, XP and Traditional methodologies of software writing was applied to cookie making. What fascinates me about this article is not the fact that they are applying software development methods to Cookie making, but how complex this cookie making really is. After reading this, when you pick up a cookie box from the supper market you will have all new respect for it :-)

Something very interesting happened while I was on my laptop the other day, power outage. However I was still able to use the Internet, then it struck me that I could not have done that if I was using Ethernet Modem since they draw power from external source and not from the computer through USB port.
I don't think its an advantage that can push you to go for a USB modem unless you have a laptop and you are in a place where there are frequent power cuts, nevertheless this still can be considered an advantage of USD Modems.
